How do you set up a combination lock?

To set up a combination lock, first turn the dial a few times to clear any previous combinations. Then, set the dial to the current combination (usually the default is 0-0-0). Next, turn the dial to the right until you reach the first number of your new combination. Turn the dial to the left, passing the second number once, and stop on the second number on the next rotation. Finally, turn the dial to the right again until you reach the third number of your new combination. Once all three numbers are set, pull the shackle to lock the combination in place.
