What is the name of the South's ironclad ship in the Civil War?

The CSS Virginia, formerly the USS Merrimack, was but one of the Confederate ironclads.

It is famous from the Battle of Hampton Roads with the USS Monitor. This was the first ever clash between two ironclad ships. The battle occurred March 9th, 1862.
