Is it dangerous to neuter a 7 yr old pit bull?

The surgery to remove the testicles in an older dog is more complicated, but not any more dangerous. There are more blood and larger blood vessels that have to be avoided, there tends to be a bit more bleeding and the dog tends to have a little more pain to be treated, but overall the risk of complications or adverse outcomes is similar to what a puppy's risks are.
