She burned an estimated 300 people at the stake, including women, children, priests. Her father killed an estimated 50,000 people. Her grandparents, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Aragon and Castile established the Spanish Inquisition resulting in over 49,000 trials most resulting in death. So the fact that Queen Mary I is known as "Bloody Mary" for killing 300 people compared to the average 49,500 of her father and grandparents(that would mean that more every person Mary killed they killed 165) is almost laughable.
