Are British Army officers allowed to be romantically involved with other officers?

Oh yes, it's not a problem if they are both commissioned officers.(& of the opposite sex!) What would be difficult if one is commissioned & one not because other ranks cannot be in another mess except on duty ! Therefore the idea of a woman marrying a man, or vice versa, of different social strata within the armed forces isn't altogether a good idea.
