How do you get a monster bone L in monster hunter 3?

Do the capture rathian quest or CAPTURE the barroth.

( i know there is not a quest to capture barroth) but if u capture barroth you will get 1 bone.

IF u capture rathian you will get 2 (3 if lucky)
