How many high school baseball teams are in the US?

The updates are done regularly so depending on when you are looking for the answer to this question, this is the agency to go to! I don't know that anyone knows the answer to that. Just about every high school in the U.S. plays Basketball. So I would say there are several thousand high schools that play basketball.
