What are the features of philosophy?

There are many features and aspects of philosophy. Philosophy is the foundation in which all progressive, intellectual thought is built on. There are the five main branches of philosophy, encompassing every aspect of the human being: Metaphysics(concepts of time, reality, and existence); Epistemology(truth, belief, and theories of justification); Logic(reasoning, pragmatism, skepticism); Morality (ethics, good vs. bad, and politics); and Aesthetics (beauty, art, sentience, and perception). Science and religion stem from philosophy. Criticism and debate owe their origins in philosophy. Music and painting are due to philosophy.
