How do you increase Venture Towns store stats?

There are 2 ways of doing this:

1. Waiting. As the store levels up, the stats will increase along with it.

2. Using items. If you use a stat seed such as the IQ seed or the Work seed on a store then there's a possibility of the store's stat going up half or one level.
