What countries are seeking freedom?

Several countries and regions are currently seeking greater autonomy or independence, including Taiwan, which aims for international recognition and independence from China; Hong Kong, where protests have arisen against perceived encroachments on freedoms by the Chinese government; and various regions within nations like Spain (Catalonia) and the United Kingdom (Scotland). Additionally, movements for self-determination exist in places such as Western Sahara and Kashmir. These aspirations often stem from a desire for political, cultural, or economic self-governance.
