Why does 0.2 x 0.4 equals 0.08 and not 0.8?

how am i supposed to know answer it yourselves thank you very much. isnt that why you go to school. i mean yr reely supposed to learn somting there. what do you do sleep there. imean your supposed to lern thats just my appinion.
