San Pancracio, or Saint Pancras, is a Christian martyr and saint who is venerated in various Christian traditions. He is believed to have been a young boy, around 14 years old, who was martyred in Rome during the reign of Emperor Diocletian around the year 304 AD. San Pancracio is often associated with blessings for the home and is considered the patron saint of children and various causes, including the protection of the family and the sick. His feast day is celebrated on April 12th in the Western Christian calendar.
