What is the High standard NATO 49er revolver?

It is a private labeled model made by High Standard for a large distributor and shipped in 1972. These where not sold through their catalogs or price lists. They have nothing to do with NATO or the Military. Not mentioned in the Blue Book because the Book does not list private labeled guns. Looks like the Double Nine Model but marked on left side of barrel, NATO 49er. Anyone having more info please post.
