Is cold fear a zombie game?

Yes and no, the enemies in the game is just infected by 'exocells' a parasite which uses the humans as hosts and drive them crazy. They also show they are intelligent enough to pick up objects and use them as weapons.

But they are similar to a zombie in a few ways; they want to kill you, they do rot and they can only be killed by a head shot.
