Area of a parallogram

The area of a parallelogram is just the base times the height. Caution! The height is not the length of the slanted side on the left or right side of the parallelogram. The height is the distance from the top of the shape to the bottom of the shape measured along the perpendicular (perpendicularly).

Area of a Parallelogram = Base times Height
