Is family video open on Labor Day?

Yes. Family Video is open 365 days a year. The hours on Labor Day will be the same as any other Monday for that store. For most stores it'll be 10 AM - Midnight, but they will usually put up their holiday hours on their outside sign stating Friday morning of a holiday weekend.
