How was the angel of the north built?

The Angel of the North, designed by artist Antony Gormley, was constructed between 1994 and 1998. It is made of steel and stands 20 meters tall with a wingspan of 54 meters. The structure was fabricated using over 200 tons of weathering steel, which develops a rust-like appearance over time, allowing it to blend with its surroundings.
