Why are women devalued throughout the world?

Millions of women and girls the world over have been abused.: Here are a few stories of mistreatment. From India: Madhu said: "When I was a child, my brother abused me physically and verbally every single day. after I married, my mother- in- law continued the assaults. She and my father-in-law treated me as a slave. I battled thought of suicide."

From Argentina: Maria said: " As a child, I was abused by relatives. When I was 17, my employer threatened to fire me if I did not accept pleasing him. As an adult, I have been belittled by my husband, parents, and neighbours.

So we can see, with those two examples, that abuse can come from brothers, mothers, bosses, husbands and even neighbours. Men and women have chosen the way of life written in The Bible in 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 that describes why people do bad things and confirms that it is a choice. It reads: "But be aware of this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men/women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, having no natural affection without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness and so much more.

The Bible also teaches that our world is controlled by evil in 1 John 5: 19 in these Words: "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. And Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one as "the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth".

Our world is on its downfall the day when Adam and Eve have chosen to be controlled by God's oppenent, the Devil. Genesis chapter 3 is mankind's downfall history. But that does not mean that we are left without help. 1 John 5: 20 reminds us that the Son of God came on earth to give us insight so that we can gain knowledge of the one who is true.

The knowledge that comes from the Bible has helped many. The victims and the abusers.

1 Peter 5: 7 teache us that we can throw all our anxiety on God, because he cares for us. Which means when we pray, God really listens to us which is confirmed in Psalm 55: 22; 65: 2

Psalm 10: 17,18 shows that there will come a time when God will eradicate all injustice, including cruelty to and violence against women.

Our hope is in what Jehovah God has in stock for mankind, due to his Kingdom to come that Jesus told us to pray for in Matthew 6: 9,10.

God's kingdom (government) is going to undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done.

So to answer your question which is: Why are women devalued throughout the world? The answer is that our world is lying in the power of the wicked one, and to be no longer under its influence, we have to let ourselves be educated by the one and only guide Book , "The Bible" which is a letter from God and beneficial for our teaching and setting matters straight, according to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17. It is the only Book that teaches us about our past, present, and our future.
