What did Europeans bring to Australia that was bad?

Europeans introduced a variety of animals, such as foxes, rabbits and cane toads, which have threatened the existence of many of Australia's native species. They also brought invasive weeds such as the blackberry, prickly pear, lantana and hundreds more exotic plants.

They brought diseases to the Aborigines and an end to the indigenous way of life. Europeans interfered with the Aborigines' hunting methods, drove them off their lands and, in some cases, removed aboriginal children from their homes and families to be brought up in the "white culture". This effectively ended the way the aboriginal culture could be passed down to new generations.
