But ... if it's the size of a quarter, has George Washington's picture on the front, and the Words Jamestown Quadricentennial and a ship on the back, it IS a quarter and is only worth 25¢. Virginia opted to promote its 400th anniversary on the reverse of its state quarters even though they were minted in 2000, seven years before the celebration took place.
