Are there any benefits to animal testing?

Yes in ways. It is a way to test prodects with out putting people in danger. Also with animal food and medicens they practice on animals to see how well they work. I think it's ridicouluse personaly. In my mind animals should be treated the same way as humans. After all they have nerves systems too don't they?
