How does marijuana use affect school work and social life?

well, considering that Marijuana affects and distorts perception, causes loss of coordination, problems with MEMORY and LEARNING, and difficulty in thinking and problem solving, therefore it is not possible to remember things people learn in class or at work, and will have trouble figuring out answers. :)
