How can one tell the difference between a male and female pufferfish?

Female guppies are much larger and less colourfull. They also have a triangular anal fin. The male is a slim very colourfull fish and has a pointed anal fin which is called a "gonopodium" and this fin does a similar job to a mammals penis.
