Why is water polluted?

Water pollution is caused when a Eco-problem or a climate change affects water. Such as we humans litter almost everywhere, so the sea is affected a lot. Another thing such as a big oil spill can pollute the water all over the world. Even something small like radiation leak could be a big effect on water.
