Is miriam the angel of death in the story miriam Truman Capote?

i think miriam is a part of mrs. Miller's fantasy. Mrs. Miller lives alone and has no social contact with other people, so i think she imagine a young version of herself. That the neighbours didn't see the young miriam is an example for that.
