What are the aims and objectives of DC comics?

DC Comics has all ways grabbed my imagination more so than other comic book companies. Who did not want to be Superman or go into the night like The Batman.

True Marvel has out sold DC at different times in history, but DC Comics has the passion. DC heroes are what we aim to be, better human beings.
