What colors make rooms look smaller?

usually darker colors, like blue, brown, green, and black, but in my room, i used two bright colors with one dark one, and it turned out great. just make sure that the walls or baseboard are the dark and the celeing is the bright. baseboard can be either dark or light.

Edited Part : I agree, dark colours; black, brown.... are really stuffy like. and make then room look smaller.
