The non-aggression pact was significant because:

  • The two most powerful nations at the time are a team. They have very strong weapons and a lot of military strength therefore they could destroy a lot.
  • The pact allowed Germany to concentrate their military forces on the Western Front.

The pact is later broken by Germany when they invade Russia.
