What Countries claim colonies in other lands?

Eight countries of the world still maintain colonies. France claims the most with sixteen colonies. The United Kingdom has fifteen and the United States has fourteen while Australia has six, New Zealand and Norway have three apiece, and Denmark and Netherlands claim two each.
