When should you change your timing belt?

You have a 100,000 mile drive train warranty. I would replace the timing belt at 98,000 miles or for sure prior to 100,000 miles. My Kia Rio timing belt just went at 80,000 miles so I would really think about changing it around 80,000 miles. Mine went while I was driving it with absolutely NO warning and destroyed the engine.
