Yes my wife was supposed to be the cosigner for the friend last Nov. Friend is now late on the last payment and all the paperwork like renew reg. Property tax bills in my wife's name have been coming to us. So now we have been looking into it and found out that my wife was the owner of the auto with noboby else on the title (which turns out to give us more rights).. That means the dealer or friend tricked my wife into signing to be the owner. How can they get away with that?.
