What are the similarities and differences between ancient Greece and modern Australia?

I've recently done a project on Ancient Greece and I've learn that there are more similarities and differences there than Ancient Greece being BC and Australia being AD. Even this is not exactly true because the legacies of Ancient Greece live on today

Here are some similarities:

• Both participate/d in the Olympics
• Both are have citizens

Here are some differences:

• Every Aussie is a citizen
• In Ancient Greece, only upper class men could be citizens
