My 1986 17 had a 35 gallon aluminum tank from factory. Tank was made in Miami by Florida MArine tanks i believe. BTW Mine had eight holes in it and another 8 badly corroded (oxidized) spots when I replaced it. Tank is foamed in the fuel coffin. I am pretty sure yours is 35 gallon domensions are 9" deep 44" Long and 24 or so W.
