How do you get another color of paint of your existing paint job on your car?

The car needs to be "prepped" before changing the color. If there are surface imperfections that need to be fixed, then that would also be done. Do you want to just do the outside or do you want the door jams,inside of hood, etc. If the car is in decent shape, it just needs to be sanded, everything masked off that you don't want painted (or need painted) and the painted.

It sounds easy but it isn't. Most DIYers would do this over a few weekends. A few weekends prepping than an entire weekend painting.
