This is a workflow I use to print a copy of a single page PDF on the same sheet of paper. Be aware that the original PDF is one half the size of a letter page, i.e. 5.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall so that side by side a copy of the PDF will fit exactly next to the original. A modification of this workflow may be the answer to your situation.
Open a single page PDF, let's call it "document1.pdf"
Select DOCUMENT>EXTRACT PAGES
Accept the default setting From: 1 to: 1 of 1
Do not check the box to Extract Pages As Separate Files
You will now have an open document named "Pages from document1.pdf"
Select DOCUMENT>INSERT PAGES
Find and select the single page PDF in first step (document1.pdf)
The document "Pages from document1.pdf" will now have two pages exactly the same
Save "Pages from document1.pdf" to your preferred folder (rename if you like)
Optionally, select Page SETUP and to fit these two pages side by side
Select PRINT
Under COPIES & PAGES
Select ALL
Copies = 1
Set PAGE SCALING: Multiple pages per sheet
Set CUSTOM to 2 BY 1
Set Page Order: usually any setting works, but check the thumbnail preview
Print it
As stated earlier this works for printing the same one-page PDF twice on a single letter-sized page.
