Is Apple inc mass or niche?

Apple Inc. sells to a mass market. It dominates the mp3 market with it's iPods, It's iphone has gained a sizable portion of the phone market in the short while it has been produced, and it's very profitable computer lines achieve sales figures far in excess of many other computer manufacturers.
