The diameter is 15 ft, so your radius would be 7.5 ft.

Now you can split the circle into fourths knowing each radius is 7.5 ft.

Then use the formula S=rθ to find the arc length. Since it's split into fourths, you know each angle is 90o.

So then plug it in.

S=(7.5)(90o)

Multiply 90o times pi/180o to get rid of the degrees.

So then you have

S=(7.5)(pi/2)

Plug it into your calculator.

Multiply your answer by four (since we split it into fourths, we only found the arc length for one fourth of it).

And your answer should be 47.12 ft.
