Who Mary thought Jesus was at first?

At first, Mary believed Jesus to be a normal child and her son, born through divine intervention as the result of the Annunciation by the angel Gabriel. As he grew, she recognized him as the Messiah and the Son of God, but like many others, she grAppled with understanding the full scope of his mission and identity. Her perspective evolved as she witnessed his teachings, miracles, and ultimately his crucifixion and resurrection.
