How do you adjust the trunk lid tension on a 02 Honda Accord?

If you have a spoiler installed then you need a different spring that is stronger for the extra weight of the spoiler. When the dealer installs a spoiler they change out this spring. If you have no spoiler then the spring is adjustable. Move it to the lowest slot.
