What is tack?

Tack is the leather gear used on a horse for riding.
In this instance, gear for a horse. Though, it could also mean other things e.g thumb tacks, etc.

This gear usually includes a saddle, bridle and saddle pad, though it may have other additions depending on the purpose of the riding.
