Where can jobs be found in computer engineering technology?

Computer Engineers could find employment with companies that produce components of computer systems, such as Intel. However, being that Computer Engineering is a wide field of practice including not just hardware design but also software and firmware writing for micro-controllers and other related things (VLSI Chips, analog sensors and circuit boards, they could find employment with any company that designs and builds Personal Computers or Super Computers or with a company that designs operating systems (Microsoft and the like).
