Norfolk Island Pines (Araucaria heterophylla) can tolerate temperatures as low as 20°F (-6°C) for short periods, but they thrive best in warmer climates. Ideally, they prefer temperatures between 65°F to 85°F (18°C to 29°C). Prolonged exposure to temperatures below 30°F (-1°C) can cause damage to the tree. It's best to protect them from frost and cold winds.
