What do engineers wear?

It depends on the type of engineering, but basic equipment in a factory setting, is steel toe-caped boots, hard wearing clothes and overalls, a hi-viz safety vest or jacket, waterproof industrial gloves, hard hat, goggles, ear plugs (ear defenders, ear muffs). Additional items if working in tight, hazardous areas (underground waste/sewerage pumping stations, etc) would be a gas detector, a torch(s), and a safety assessment of possible hazards and dangers having been previously made.
