Did you experience taking a test which was very difficult because the items were not all covered in class?

Yes. This used to happen sometimes in high school chemistry because the teacher gave us tests that came with the textbook and we were using an old version of the book. It worried me a lot the first time it happened. ( You can't complain if the test was based on assigned reading that you did not do but which was not covered in class.)
