Help you are being bullied because you are gay?

Sadly, this is very common (it happens to most gays, it happened to me, it even happens to straight guys who don't lookd straight enough), and there is very little you can do.

First, find help outside. The most important thing is that you don't let it get you down. You need support. Someone who will cheer you up, listen to you. This person does not need to know you're gay, but it's better. It's good if you have two of these people, one your age, one adult. Your parents, a teacher or social worker, a friend, a sibling of family member can do. And if none of those is available, there are associations and groups of gay almost everywhere, that you can find on the web and get help from. You can also meet other gays and lesbian your age on the web to share (but be cautious, a lot of older men pose as youth on the web. The best security is to ask for a webcam encounter. Never give personnal info. And if you meet, make it in a public place not too far from home)

Second, you need to adapt you attitude in front of the bullies. Never look weak, that's what they feed on. Bullies have problems with self esteem, they see themselves as scumbags, and need to see someone lower than themselves to feel better. If they can't drag you down, they will let you be. Look self-assured (even if you're not)

You can see that as a challenge. If you can keep you dignity in this kind of situation, you will be stronger. No matter what, they are below you, remember that. Think about what the Queen of England would do in your situation. Dignity is a set of mind you can keep no matter what the situation. It'll make you strong, like a wall they can soil, but not scratch.

But don't anger them. They might become violent sometimes. So fighting back isn't the best way. Be polite, and ignore them as much as you can. Try and have a happy life without them, and they will feel excluded from your world, and will leave it alone. They must not be important.

And then wait. It'll be over when you get older. Try and have good grades, so you can go to college, in a big city with many other gays, far far away. Bullies ultimately become losers. If you manage to have a successful life, you will never see them again.
