List of extinct species along with scientific names in India?

Over time, India has seen several species of plants and animals go extinct. Some of the extinct species are the Nilgiri Holly (Ilex gardneriana), Kerala Legume Tree (Cynometra beddomei), Courtallum Wendlandia (Wendlandia angustifolia) and Meghalaya Sterculia (Sterculia khasiana).
