After a valve job how can you get hyd lifters close enough to finish setting them with the motor running?

Just run all the adjusting nuts down to were you can see about 5 threads showing above them all. You should be able to start the engine and adjust them after the engine warms up. That is if you have the timing right and every thing else correct.
