Why is there so little information on Obama's past?

This is another internet myth, spread by his political opponents and by the "Birthers." Actually, there is a large amount of information about the president's past. We know about his childhood in Hawaii and Indonesia, we know about how he felt about his father's lack of involvement in his life, we know about his close relationship with the grandparents who raised him, we know about the mistakes he made and the many achievements he had, we know about his political career, and his relationship with his wife and daughters. I am not sure what information you believe is not available, because there are many news organizations that have reported on his life quite extensively.
