Who invented and named the slush drink?

Omar Knedlik, who owned a hamburger restaurant in Kansas, had his soda fountain break and put the bottles of pop in the freezer so they wouldn't get warm. When he took them out they were almost frozen, but not quite. Omar Knedlik did not have enough time to thaw the pop and had to serve the drinks in slushie form. Everyone like the slushies and so Omar Knedlik decided to build a machine that replicated what the freezer did to the pop
