When do tea bags go bad?

Im guessing your talking about un-used tea bags. In which, as a plant form that is dried, they should practically if still sealed and kept in a dry cool place should be good for use a year or so after their sell by date. A bit like when you keep spices and herbs. After a while they lose their taste and aroma.
